Stina Lundberg, Fashion Stylist

Written by Stina

What’s going on, in the streets of Paris?

Is fashion important? It would be easy to say no, to claim that fashion is for rich and snobby people, and that nobody is actually wearing the clothes that are being shown on catwalks, and then what’s the point?…I would however not agree… What is a trend, and why do people tend to adapt themselves after a current trend?

Fashion for me is an art, a way of expressing, exploring and challenging your creativity.

It may also be a way of functions, of practical convenience. It is a part of you, of your every day choices, that reflects your personality.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that if you’re extremely trendy, you’re very creative…The hip trend addicts aren’t very creative, or personal in their appearances.

I feel that to be creative, is to be able to feel good about you, to have your style that sometimes take influences of the current trend, that is; if you happen to like the trend…

My name is Stina Lundberg; I’m Swedish, living in Paris since spring-05. I’m diplomed at ESMOD (Ecole Internationale des Arts et Techniques de la Mode) a diploma of design and patternmaking,     in the fields of womenswear and menswear.

I’ll give you my opinion of some things, everyday-things, around fashion.
