Have you ever heard this sentence:
This is such a cool kitchen! It doesn’t even look like a kitchen.

In order to plan your newly renovated or remodeled kitchen, you have to research ideas and plan in order to avoid making either minor or major mistakes. A mistake that is made most commonly is not arranging appliances to save steps or to have the smaller ones close at hand. There are three major appliances that every cook uses and they are the stove, refrigerator and sink. In fact, professional designers have named this the “golden triangle” since all three of these appliance are placed in a triangle that is easy to get to. So when you make your kitchen designs and you should do this before you start the renovation or remodeling, be sure to place the golden triangle onto the design first.
Some things in the kitchen we take for granted and forget to plan for them as the kitchen exhaust fan. Do not take for granted that they automatically come with the stove as they do not. Yet, the exhaust fan is important to not only keep the condensation over the stove light but it takes away unpleasant smells and lets in fresh air.

Interior design keeps on evolving throughout with the help of science and creativity. Peoples habits change, one feeding off the other. One movement that stands out is exactly the opposite, no movement at all.
You are basically designing each room to demand as little transportation as possible of you. Let me break it down. Bathrooms today are getting bigger and more accessorized, even though, stylewise we are trying to hide all our knick knaks. Big tubs, relaxing/spa hangouts are increasing the time we spend enclosed in that one space.

So here’s 2010. A new time is awaiting loaded with colourful visions. But before concentrating on the future forms we need to glance into the rear-view mirror. To know what is ahead it’s important to be aware of the past. Then deciding what stuff stays and goes. I feel we are moving on from these,
Minimalism: People are full of stories and bagage. A house without a colorful storyline is no house.
Trend, A rebellious movement against al kind of “trend obeying” would render the future more unpredictable.
Hopefully moving towards, Space instead of object focusing. Meaning, decorating with the eye on the space/area instead of consentrating on what we have to fill it with.

You are dying to change the look of a room or many rooms in your home. However you know that it will cost a lot of money to accomplish the look you are hoping for. Or maybe you just think it will cost a lot of money. There are many ways in which you can change the look of a room without doing much work or without spending a bunch of money. You don’t need to go out and buy all new furniture or a new bed to get a new theme into a room. Following are some great tips that will help you accomplish cheaper decorating.

One of the minimalist looks out there is a modern look. For this type of theme you need to remember that the less you have in a room the better it will look.
These rooms may seem a bit boring and drab but you can add a bit of spice into the theme and still accomplish the look without spending a lot of money. Get plywood and some Styrofoam together. You are going to make your own modern looking headboard. Modern design has a lot of geometric shapes in it, so what you need to do is cut out a bunch of shapes from the foam. Make them different sizes and thicknesses if you can. Paint them with a color that you want in your room, than glue them to the headboard. Placing on a nice plain color before you put them on the headboard will work, or you can just paint it white. You have now created a masterpiece and not spent much money.
Another designer look that can be achieved inexpensively is that of your linens and accessories. Revive old linens like curtains, comforters, and sheets, with a box of fabric dye and some fabric paint. Be sure to follow all of the instructions when dying your pieces and save any washing instructions for later. These kinds of dyes can occasionally be temperamental and you do not want to waste your hard work by ruining your project. Create other furnishings by renewing old furnishings with paint, contact paper, and other craft supplies.
