I was in search of that perfect Italian men’s suit

There’s little that looks as good on most as a really nice Italian men’s suit. That’s not just my opinion, but that of many of my friends, family and business acquaintances.

Several years ago, I was in search of that perfect Italian men’s suit. I’m not necessarily a fashion designer, so I requested the help of my wife, knowing that she would give an honest opinion whenever she felt needed. Thankfully, she didn’t disappoint. The exact moment I stepped out of the dressing room after several changes, my wife immediately noticed the winner saying, “Buy that one, now!”

Since that day, I have always felt very confident in that suit. Every time I wear it I get compliments from just about everyone I meet. I feel as if I do better business in that suit. And the thing is, it was just an off the rack suit from a lesser Italian designer, but it has the look and style that says, “Armani”.

How To Choose a Tuxedo Color

When a person buys a tuxedo they need to choose not only a style and a price, but a color as well.  Reading this article will give you the knowledge you need to choose the right tuxedo color.

Wearing classic colors such as brown, white, gray, black, and midnight blue are a safe bet for any type of event.  However, you should note that these colors are a necessity for events such as balls, weddings, and award ceremonies.

Black tuxedos will great on any body type.  The color black has a great slimming effect which makes it perfect for larger builds.  However, it will also look great on slimmer more streamlined bodies because it adds to the natural good looks of a person.

Gray tuxedos can be worn by both slim and large body types.  However, your body type will determine which shade of gray to choose.  The light gray tux is not very flattering to the larger body.  This is because lighter shades show the body off better than darker colors.  Slim and fit men and women should wear light gray and larger less in shape bodies should wear more of a charcoal gray.

Dark blue is very formal in nature and is great for looking different at a black tie affair.  This color looks especially good on people with lighter skin tones.  The light blue tux looks great with both light and dark skin shades.  People with fit and well toned bodies will look better in a light blue tux than men and women with less flattering body types.

White tuxedos are great for men and women with dark complexions.  It is also great for people with fit bodies that don’t mind being accentuated.  People wearing this type of tux will look great in most formal situations.

The Progession Of Today’s Designer Men’s Underwear Styles And Fabrics

Some of the most observable difference in contemporary mens underwear compared to yesteryears choices is the vast range of fabrics, styles and skimpiness of what is now available. Dacron polyester and other itchy fabrics went out of the window to make way for superfine cottons, organic fabrics and coolmax technical microfibres that wick moisture away from the skin. Whilst we are currently seeing a return to retro styles such as the mid rise brief and y-front, these are nothing more than a reflection of the current fashions, and sit along side the vast range of styles currently available in mens underwear. Looks include traditional boxer shors, fitted boxers, boxer briefs, midis, minis, micros, hipsters, thongs and g-strings.

Scales of Grey in Fashion

Some people say it’s blue, but I would more like to say that the grey is “the new black”. I would never say that it’s more classic, more useful, or more chic than black, but the grey is everywhere and is just perfect for casual and basic items, as well as for accessories! And not to mention for make-up! All those greyish tones for eye shades, and as to work the kajal or coal pen roughfly around the eyes to get the “smudged-party look” in an non pretentious way.

Are you tired of hunting for something a little more sensual than socks and ties for the man in your life? Are you fed up with seeing your partner in rather sad slightly baggy grey boxers which came in a pack of three from your local supermarket? If the answer is yes to either of these questions why not think about giving him a gentle hint in the right direction by giving him some designer underwear.

Lately, there has been lots of  talk about Eastern Fashion, and inspiration from Asia. What does this mean then?

In my point of view, we are still interested in colour, lots of colour! It makes me start to think of “colour therapy”, you now trying to have vivid colours surrounding you, to boost up your energy and mood.
Does colours really affect us that much?
