I wrote to you earlier about a trend coming up with drapes dresses, tops and so on…
Well here’s a follow up on this trend, but in a more covered up sence, perfect for fall and winter. Strict structure meets a smooth draped fabric.
I find all of these dresses very beautiful in cut and in shape.

The draped fabric is only partly on the dress which makes the surface and the shape of the dress to become irregular and interesting! It’s as if the structure and the sleeves and everything that covers the body is trying to control the dress (Keeping certain fabric on place, i.e. being properly dressed, not showing to much skin etc…) And this is being mixed with parts of the dress where the fabric flows and wants to move freely over the body.

It’s there everyday. Giving you relif and comfort. It’s the Sofa. Somewhat of an anxiety purchase when it comes to furnishing a home.

Why? well as previously stated it’s always there, usually where the action is and therefore becoming an important piece. Beeing more or less expensive we are not changing couch as we are with our accessories.

Besides the stile swap, what is it that you wished it had?
Is it worn down in certain area or stained?
People say history have a way of repeating itself so you better keep these things in mind. Just because the sofa is sparkling white doesn’t mean you will stop slobering.

Soon approaching fall, as usual we are able to see the suits and jackets and blazers popping up everywhere. A nice trend reminding us of the structured tailored outfits of the 40′s, is the suits, on women! There will be a big variety of the classic suit, adapted for a female body. This means a slightly centered waist, straight  or thin pants with normal or high waist.

The shoulders are thin and discrete, and the total look is a slim silhouette in a sense of minimalism (once again the 1940′s “dresscode” reminding us of the economical struggle and to spend a lot of money on buying clothes that demanded big quantities of material was not to think of) Since the situation is restrained in the economics these days to, this trend goes  perfectly with us with a smaller wallet.

This classy, easy combined suit is often worn with a very feminine shoe, for example a pair of high, thin heels, in order to give a direct contrast to the “typical” menswear outfit.
