Very Trendy Legs For Spring 2009
For spring summer 2009 I’ve noticed one thing quite interesting concerning the mix between underwear and ready-to-wear.
As we are used to see, every time fall sneaks up on us, is the huge amount of hoes and stockings. This fall there has been (and is still) lots of stockings in dense or vivid colors. For example for a casual or classical look, in basic colors, you see colorful stockings beeing worn by almost any age or style. Which is definitly both playful and creative on a budget!
Use normal pantyhoes, or leggings, or over-knee socks, in different material and thickness.
Look at the spring 2009 photos of A.F Vandevorst, where you can see the rather classical or casual look, combined with sheer stockings, sometimes superposed, tone to tone.
(According to this collection, no longer flashy and vivid!)
I find this look very exclusive, and very cool in the field of “unisex” fashion. At a time like now when we are exploring and testing the limits of what is (or is said to be) women or mens’wear, this masculine color scale is beeing mixed with a sexy thin woman garment;
the pantyhose!
So since the trend of showing of your legs is still going strong,
explore and be creative with your choice for wrapping up your legs!

Hi Stina, love this idea of stockings, but not sure that skirts will be this short. There is a theory that says the better the economy the shorter the skirt. If this is true we should all be wearing dresses that drag along the ground.
